At EEC, we keep things small on purpose. It allows us to deliver a better training experience and provide real support to our students.
That also means last-minute changes carry real impact.
Transfers, cancellations, and late scheduling affect course planning, instructor time, and other students.
The policies below are designed to keep things fair and predictable for everyone.
1. The Ground Rule
When you register for a course, you’re reserving a limited seat in a scheduled training.
That seat has value whether you attend or not.
Last-minute changes don’t just affect you—they disrupt scheduling, instructors, lodging coordination, and certification timelines. These policies exist to keep things running clean.
2. How to Make Changes
All transfer and cancellation requests must be made by submitting the form using the button below. In your submission, include:
- The registered student’s name and email address
- Course name and date
- What you’re requesting (transfer or cancellation)
- The reason for the request
The timestamp on the request submission is what determines eligibility for a transfer or refund.
3. Transfers (Best Option if Plans Change)
If you can’t attend, move your seat.
- 31+ days before the course start date — Transfer to a future course at no cost.
- 30 days or less before the course start date — Transfers are no longer available. Your registration falls under the refund policy below.
If something changes, act early. Waiting closes doors.
4. Refunds
Refunds are based on when your email request is received.
| Timing | Refund Eligibility |
| 31+ days before course start | 100% refund, minus any processing fees |
| 30-14 days before course start | 50% refund, minus any processing fees |
| Within 14 days of course start | No refund |
| No-shows | No refund |
5. Online / Digital Courses
Once access has been granted, there are no refunds for:
- Online courses
- Recorded trainings
- Digital materials
If something isn’t working, we’ll fix the issue — but access means the product has been delivered.
6. Late Scheduling for Recertification
Time matters here. If you wait too long and the entire system tightens.
- Contact us more than 30 days before your certification expires to schedule normally.
- Contact us within 30 days of expiration, and you may be charged a late scheduling fee of up to 100% of the total training and exam cost.
7. Lodging (Read This Carefully)
We may help coordinate lodging as a convenience. If we do so, however, that’s where our responsibility ends.
- Lodging providers are independent businesses.
- We do not control their policies, qualities, or availability.
- Any issues with lodging are between you and the provider.
Refund timing for lodging and coordination follows the same schedule as course registrations:
| Timing | Refund Eligibility |
| 31+ days before check-in | 100% refund, minus any processing fees |
| 30-14 days before check-in | 50% refund, minus any processing fees |
| Within 14 days of check-in | No refund |
8. If We Cancel A Course or Exam
If we cancel:
- You’ll receive a full refund, or
- You can transfer to another date at no cost.
No games. No penalties. Our bad.
